Beautiful Dreamer.

Happy Fresh 2012!

It's such a blessing to walk into another year, with a hopeful spirit, full of excitement for what will take root and spring forth this year! I sure do have a heart of expectancy from the Most High God, my friends, family and self within. I am declaring that this year will be a year of perfection, full of abundance! Forgetting the shortcomings, failures and disappointments of 2011, and charging forward into growth, improvement, accomplishment and LOVE!

Carolyn Malachi, who is such a radiant artist, sings its best in her video "Beautiful Dreamer". An inspiration of hope and believing in YOU! Also, showing the obstacles of beginning a greater you, by the bullying of a nine year old girl.I recommend that "Beautiful Dreamer" should be placed on repeat on your play-list... To reaffirm your potential, power, and position.

I'll save the treat, just wtach & LISTEN!

Almond JOY!

I discovered a fresh, healthy and tasty on-the-go snack for this summer: almonds!
Read below 5 reasons why you should be joyful about almonds too...

Reason #1: lowers LDL ("bad") cholesterol and lowers risk of heart disease.
Reason #2: excellent source of manganese, copper and riboflavin, which all aid in energy production.
Reason #3: aids in weight loses- the mono-saturated fats contained in almonds satisfies an appetite and  prevents over-eating.
Reason #4: improves complexion of the skin.
Reason #5: fights against constipation- almonds are rich in fiber!

Happy Flavonoids Day!

Beautiful Queens, Happy Valentine's Day!I hope everyone had a joyous day full of love and FLAVNOIDS!Flavonoids? I know, I can explain...

Flavonoids help protect plants from environmental toxins and assist with internal cell repair. So, when we consume plant-based foods rich with flavoniods, we also benefit from the antioxidants within foods. Now, antioxidants are believed to help fight against cell damage from free radicals from the environment that enter into our temples through simple entry, such as breathing and contaminate cell tissue. But, due to all the wonderful plants, fruits and vegetables that contain some sort of antioxidant benefit, we can eat healthy, while combating against the toxins of the environment.

Now, flavonols are the main type of flavonoids found in chocolate. As mentioned, flavoniods are naturally-occurring compounds found in plant based foods. They are part of the poly-phenol compound group, which is a chemical compound in food. There are roughly about 4,000 types of flavonoids compounds found in food and beverages, like red wine, cranberries, tea, onions, chocolate and much more! That all provide great health benefits-- lowering blood pressure, decreasing stress and reducing the risk of heart disease and stroke.

So, Queens, indulge yourself with some chocolate, in moderation that is...And, think about all the goodness you are consuming, for the betterment of your temple "the body".
